Support

Living by Faith, our situation

We carry out our ministry as volunteers, we do not receive a salary we live by faith and rely on the support of those who believe in us and the work we do. We have all the usual costs such as rent, groceries, transport, etc. To date we have been so blessed but we are short of committed monthly prayer and financial supporters. We ask you to prayerfully consider partnering with us to bring both spiritual and physical hope to the poor and needy.

Living by faith a Biblical view.

In the book of Numbers (3:5-8) we see the Lord set aside a group of people, the Levites, to do the work of the church. The Lord provided for them by means of a support system (NUM 18: 21-24), he gave them all the tithes and offerings as well as land and cities (Num 35:2). After a while the people of Israel forgot this command and failed to support the Levites, the church fell into disrepair and the work of the church did not continue as it should. Nehemiah rebuilds Jerusalem and restores the church by calling the people to obey the commands of old, (Neh 13:10-13). Revival followed as the people walked in obedience.

In the new testament we see support in many places such as:- Acts 4: 32-35, “all shared in Gods work, people gave to advance the kingdom of God”. 1 Corinthians 9:7-14,” who goes to war at his own expense???”. Paul refers back to the law set out in the book of Numbers, that those who preach the Gospel should live from the Gospel. 2 Corinthians 8: 13-14 “supply each others lack”. Galations 6:6 “ He who is taught should share with him who teaches”. 1 Timothy 5:17-18 “The labourer is worthy of his wages”.

The Biddell family would like to thank each and every one already involved in partnering with us to serve the poor and needy. We are looking forward to keeping you up to date on how your prayer and financial support are working.
